If you have ever scanned one of those homes and lifestyle magazines, you have doubtless seen those beautiful Victorian houses with their equally beautiful grassed areas. And few folk could look at those homes and not wish that their own homes were just as pretty. Well, what if I told you that the way to making your own house worthy of being featured in one of those home and way of living mags was right under your nose, or rather, your feet?

Pavers, as the name indicates, are the paved walkways, drives, pool sides, etc . That may be found in most high-end homes. Some homes limit their pavers to just a portion of their grass like the walkway or that area round the fountain, but others like the pavement to include over 50% of their grasslands. Personally, I like the pavers to just cover the quintessential parts of the grass. But hey, to each his own, right?
Some folks like to put pavers on their walkways, leading right to their front doors, while others like to include the driveways leading to the garage. Still, there are some folk like to pave the fringe of their pools and even their full houses. Some people also like to beautify their gardens by adding quaint paved walkways that lead thru the maze of flowers and plants.
Sorts of Pavers
there are many materials that you may use for your pavers. Some folk like going with a classic look and choose bricks for their pavers, while some folk like to go with a fresh ‘natural’ look and go with stones or tiny pebbles. Still, there are other who want to go with a modern or recent look, and for this, concrete pavers are the best. There are a few other paving materials such as gravel, limestones, and slates.
Installation of Pavers
These pavers look astounding and are perfect additions to your houses, but they are not exactly simple to install. Sure, the whole installation may look like an easy process of laying down stones or bricks, but there’s really more to paving than that.
Paving is a comprehensive process wherein you will need to lay down each piece one at a time. But the problem does not end there.If installed wrongly, your pavers can fall apart in a matter of months. You see, the sort of pavers that you can use relies on the sort of soil you have. If your soil is loose and sandy, the pavers might not hold correctly.
So, occasionally, while it may be cheaper to just do things yourself, it could be a lot better to just hire a pro paver.
